Car Amplifier Installation Cost: What Else Must You Buy?

Car audio Malaysia · installation budget
The amplifier price is only one part of your car audio installation cost. Before ordering, ask for separate amounts for the amplifier, power wiring and protection, signal connections, mounting, and labour with setup checks.
If you are considering the CCF 7900W 4 Channel Car Amplifier, use the checklist below to confirm what you already have and what the installer still needs. A complete quote makes it easier to decide whether the purchase fits your budget.
What Should an Installation Quote Include?
Ask for each item to be marked included, reused after inspection, extra, or not required. A single “installation” total is hard to compare when the contents are unclear.
| Budget line | Ask the installer to specify |
|---|---|
| Amplifier and delivery | The exact model and option, current product price, and delivery charge if applicable. Keep this separate from the fitting quote. |
| Power wiring and protection | Power and ground cable specification and length, fuse holder and fuse, terminals, and cable protection required for the route. |
| Signal and speaker connections | RCA cables, speaker wiring, turn-on arrangement, and any vehicle-specific adapter or interface that the system needs. |
| Mounting and finishing | Mounting support, fasteners, cable securing and any trim work. Confirm where the amplifier will be fixed and remain accessible. |
| Labour and setup | Removal and refitting of trim, cable routing, installation, gain/filter setup, and final function checks. Ask which tasks the quoted labour covers. |
| Conditional extras | Any proposed additional equipment or work, with the reason and price shown separately. Agree on changes before work begins. |
Does an Amplifier Wiring Kit Cover Everything?
Check the kit’s actual contents and specifications. A label such as “complete kit” does not establish that its cable lengths, connections or protection suit your particular car and amplifier.
For example, KICKER’s installation-kit range separates complete kits from power kits and lists their components. Use the same item-by-item approach with the kit your installer proposes; this is not a recommendation of a particular kit for the CCF model.
Have the installer confirm any parts already supplied with your order before buying extras. The CCF product price should not be treated as confirmation of a full wiring kit or installation package.
Can You Reuse Wiring Already in the Car?
Give the installer the existing cable markings, approximate route and previous equipment details. Budget for inspection first, rather than assuming that a cable suitable for the old amplifier is suitable for the new system.
KICKER’s amplifier FAQ explains that power-cable sizing depends on current demand and the distance from the battery. The actual SK790.4 requirements and the installed wiring must be checked together.
Do not select cable or fuse size from “7900W”. That is the option/PMPO label, not the amplifier’s RMS output or a verified current-draw figure. Ask the installer to confirm cable and protection specifications from the appropriate equipment requirements.
Keep Factory-Radio Adapters on a Separate Line
Tell the installer whether you are keeping the original radio and whether the vehicle already has a factory amplifier. This lets them check the signal connection and quote any necessary integration parts before you order.
Do not add an adapter to the shopping cart solely because another car needed one. For the separate compatibility question, see our factory radio without RCA outputs guide.

CCF 7900W 4 Channel Car Amplifier
The current listing identifies a four-channel Class A/B car amplifier with a DC 12V supply. It lists RMS output as 120W × 4 at 4Ω; the 7900W name is a separate PMPO label.
Confirm the speaker load, radio connection, mounting space and power requirements with your installer. A four-channel label alone does not establish compatibility with every vehicle.
Check the 7900W option and current priceCompare the Scope Before Comparing the Total
Ask for matching itemised lists. The lower total may exclude wiring, an interface or setup work that the other quote includes.
Confirm whether it has been inspected and what happens to the price if it needs replacement.
Request the reason, item and revised amount before approving it. Keep any optional upgrade separate from the agreed installation.
Before You Order, Send These Details
Contact CCF Audio for product clarification with your vehicle make, model and year; radio and existing amplifier models; speaker models and quantity; the 7900W / SK790.4 option; and delivery destination.
Then ask your chosen installer:
Please quote the SK790.4 installation for my vehicle. List wiring and protection, signal adapters, mounting, labour and setup separately. Mark which existing parts can be reused after inspection and state any exclusions.
Once the system requirements and installation budget are confirmed, open the product page to check availability and order the correct option.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does car amplifier installation cost in Malaysia?
Get a quote for your specific vehicle and equipment. This guide does not give a universal RM rate because the required parts, mounting work and labour have not been inspected or quoted.
Does buying this amplifier include installation?
This guide does not include or promise installation. Confirm the product’s package contents with CCF Audio and arrange the fitting scope and price with your chosen installer.
Should I buy a wiring kit before speaking to the installer?
Confirm the needed cable specification, lengths, fuse protection and signal connections first. A kit bought by its wattage label alone may leave you with unsuitable or missing parts.
Do I need to buy new speakers at the same time?
Not automatically. Supply the existing speakers’ specifications and condition for matching. Keep speaker replacement as a separate quoted item if it is needed.
